Fire & EMS

The Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is provided through the Wellington Fire District and South Lorain County Ambulance District.
 
South Lorain County Ambulance District offers training in CPR and first aid to the public. A group of their members instruct both Fire and EMS training through their department.

Penfield Township Hall is located at the intersection of Routes 18 and 301 in the heart of Penfield Township (41012 State Route 18, Wellington, OH 44090). It contains two halls that can be rented for weddings, graduations, showers etc.

County road inquiries should be directed to the Lorain County Engineer's Office.  Contact is Ken Carney, the Lorain County Engineer for official information - kcarney@loraincountyengineer.com

Parks

Penfield supports two parks. The larger, 35-acre park has a paved walking trail, disk golf course, picnic pavilion, three regulation baseball diamonds, basketball, volleyball courts, a soccer field; and a playground with monkey bars, swings teeter totter, slide and merry-go-round. 
Whether you have a special skill or talent or just ambition and spare time, the Recreation Park could use your help.
